I've spent the last 2 months visiting the most amazing places as I sailed across South Pacific. I will have to add this place to my list. The cabin, the view, the gardens, all beautiful and will always be cherished. In front of the fire one evening, the man I loved asked me to be his wife! This cabin and property is heaven! During our four years in Canada, we have traveled extensively, PEI, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ont., Man., NWT, Rockies in Alberta, B.C., and now the Sunshine Coast. Seldom were we able to relax as much as here.

Your place is just what I needed to slow myself down from the business of the world. Everything you have created seems to come from your heart and it really shows. Your place has inspired me to look for what I have in my life and what I value, and it has given me the drive to start researching and looking for my own piece of heaven, paradise and tranquility on earth. Autumn at the Cabin

We have been coming to Canada for vacations since 1994 - Lake Louise, Harrison Hot Springs, and Vancouver. Now "the Sunshine Coast" is a wonderful addition to places we will want to return.

We are so a happy to be back in our home away from home - as always every detail is perfect. Our exceptional getaway in this hectic world.

We had the most incredible times in this romantic hideaway. With the change in seasons, it was especially beautiful here.

Words cannot describe the amazing all in such detail of your paradise that made our get-a-way from the city so special. With all of the gorgeous nature surrounding us here it made it so easy for me to put all of the everyday stresses behind and just relax

Halfmoon Bay cabin was definitely a taste of true satisfaction for the mind body and soul a pure joy to welcome fall in the year! The feather bed was a nice touch!

The children were delighted with the rainforest gardens, so many little surprises to discover We recently added a pond to our garden so the waterfall was fascinating to us I am sure few other guests spent as much time admiring the back of the falls as we did. From the generosity of condiments, to the unique collection of antique magazines in the "loo", to the snuggly flannel sheets that grace the bed - we truly love the warmth and comfort you have created here.

Thank-you so much for the opportunity to spend a relaxing weekend in this enchanted cabin. What a magical spot! The feel of the cabin and its surroundings along with your personal touches and attention to detail made us feel more at home and cozy than we could imagine. Just what we needed to refresh ourselves from the city. Thanks again for sharing your “Utopia” Can’t wait till we return.

Summer at the Cabin

Simply Enchanting! Every moment spent together here with my family has been magical. The cabin, so warm and comfortable, the garden is paradise and the ocean is always so majestic- to us prairie people. It was great to see my children 5, 8, and 10 work together to explore the gardens and to build castle fortresses before the tide could wash them away. They have reconnected in a way they can’t in our very busy lives. It was delightful to re awaken all my senses to the sights, scents, and sounds and most of all too just be able to “be” with my husband. Thank-you.

I can hardily agree with the litany of praise contained in your guest books. The most difficult thing I had to do during our stay was decide if I wanted to sit admiring the waterfall or rest at a higher point above the castle, to get a broader view of the landscape and beautiful surroundings. The plentiful supply of staple items like coffee filters, all were conducive to our comfort and enjoyment. Thank-you very much for all of it. We certainly hope to be back

On a trip to a resort or botanical gardens one expects to see beautiful gardens, mostly these do not live up to our expectations. Visiting here it feels as if the unexpected abundance of beauty surprises us at every turn, finding yet another hidden beach, looking at a view of a snow capped mountain through the leaves of a palm - it’s great!

When we arrived, we entered the steep driveway and felt we were entering into Bali. We go out onto the beach, and thought we were in Nova Scotia. When we entered the cabin, through the gardens, to be met by music, flowers, and comfort, we felt we had come "home"!

If only this place wasn’t 6000 miles away! We wanted somewhere idyllic for our honeymoon and this has provided everything we dreamt of. Not only is the cabin exactly what we dreamed it would be, but the location and the people have made the past 2 weeks that little more special I do not know how we will be able to wake up without the spectacular views or the eagles overhead!

What a lovely place to relax and enjoy loved ones, from early morning coffee on the upper deck exploring duck rock, (the starfish are an amazing purple at low tide), the Jacuzzi tub, sunsets from the cabana deck, out door showers after dark a definite must try, warm crackling fires when its raining outside, everything was perfect!
