To reach Halfmoon Bay Cabin, you will board
the BC
Ferry at Horseshoe Bay and enjoy the scenic 40 minute
ride to the Sunshine Coast.
During the summer and holiday weekends, ferry reservations (North America: 1-888-223-3779, outside North America: 1-250-386-3431), are highly recommended. After docking in Langdale, as a nice alternative to heading up the hill with all the ferry traffic, turn left at the stoplight at the
ferry terminal exit, and visit the Coastal Town
of Gibsons, with its marina and pier, where one can pick up fresh seafood,
or how about lunch at the famous Molly's
Reach, or The Seaside Café overlooking the harbour. There
are also many local shops to wander through.
Just a couple of kms out of Gibsons, take the Lower Road through Roberts Creek, The Gumboat Café is renowned for its unique food and local patrons. Continue up the Coast into the Village of Sechelt.

From Sechelt, it's a 10 minute, (7 km),
drive north along highway 101 until you come to Redrooffs
Road. Here you will turn off, (to the left), and
follow the scenic road past the waterfront properties approximately
7 kms to the Halfmoon
Bay Cabin, 8617 Redrooffs Road. Covered parking is available
beside the Cabin. (DO NOT DRIVE DOWN ADJECENT
DRIVEWAY).
